Today we would like to narrate the history of Victor Hugo,the famous romance that we all know as”Il gobbo di notre dame”…it was set in Paris,in 1482,near the famous cathedral of Notre Dame,and it begins with a group of gytans that are chased by the police men..they escaped from the arrest hiding themselves under Paris,in a underground city called”La corte dei miracoli”.During their escape,a gytans lose her baby,Quasimodo and the policemen caught him and after leaved him to the church of Notre Dame de Paris.Here,he becomes an adult,a bit ugly and humped,and he works as carrilloneur in the cathedral.One day,during a country fest,he was attacked by Frollo,his father-in-law but he was saved by Esmeralda,a beutiful gytan who lives in the Corte dei Miracoli.Quasimodo and Esmeralda,proteged by Febo,the captain of the guards,escaped down the cathedral,also if Frollo want to arrest Quasimodo and burn for witchery Esmeralda.Frollo,determined to catch them in the Corte dei Miracoli,collaborated with a group of policemen,in order to burn the underground city.But Febo and Quasimodo,after have known the bad plan of Frollo and the police,adviced Clopette and Esmeralda,and saved the city from the burning devasting flame of Frollo.But Frollo is by the way very determinated to kill Esmeralda,accused of witchery and he want to burn the cathedral,in which she escaped another time.Febo with all the citoyens protege the cathedral but it begins a very bad riot between them and the policemen.During this riot,the gargoyle,made of pierres,became reales and they killed Frollo,making him dropping off by the roof of the cathedral.Febo and Esmeralda finally become an official couple and Quasimodo partecipated to their marriage.And so it was the very begin.
