As Halloween period is coming up and the roads are full of pumpkins and of leafs,we would like to narrate the leyend of Jack O’Lantern..what do you know about it?Halloween is a common american tradition,but the story and the tradition of Halloween were bornt in Ireland.The leyend of Jack was bornt in Ireland,as we said previuosly and Jack was a forger always drunk that never died really.The history wants that a day,Jack met the devil in a pub and try to corrupt him with a money,after he met the devil again and he trapped the devil on a tree. Finally,when Jack died,the devil spare him to the hell but he wasn’t allowed to enter in the paradise.To sum up shortly this history we can say that the devil try always to take the ame of Jack but Jack with his roguery and trying always to trick the devil with the corruption based on food,drugs and accomodation.. didn’t reussied to do it completely.For this reason,his ame was spared to the hell.But Jack,once died,he wasn’t accepted nor at the hell nor in the paradise and so he was condemned to vague trough the world of alifs with a lantern with at the interior a candle,in order to illuminate the road,waiting for someone who can turn up his light.This tradition is called everywhere Halloween because it derives from all hollow eve so the day in which spirits died.Nowadays,the connotation is better and it would mean that during this night the veils between the world of alifs and the world of deaths become more subtles and it’s easier to communicate with the other world.
