Today we would like to talk about one of very old work,the ones of the chimney sweeper..During old times,the chimney sweeper was the ancient craft to clean up the cheminees which were covered of ceniza done by the fire that people light up during the hiver and the autumnal time.This kind of craft was very ancient and it was bornt in London around 1700:it was mainly done by little young boys and orphans,that works for rich people and are very well paid.The job consisted in jump up on the roofs and clean with a long sage pale the cheminee at the interior,by the up side and after by the down..with the passing of time,the woods was mixed up with the coal and the job of chimney sweeper was more and more dangerous and difficult,moreover for a health reason.Nowadays,this kind of work is mainly done in England and in France,here it’s more common than in Italy to have houses with chimneies…in Italy,in the little village of mountains or in the north part of italy sometimes we can find the announcement of person who wants to work as chimney sweeper(obviously,nowadays with more modern instruments.)
