The history of Carnevale,that we all known for the funny masks,for the masquerade parties and for the famous parade of charroes along the street of the old town,takes his origin in the city of Naple,around the 1600.. at the very beginning the Carnival was very well known for his typical masks..But let us see some typical masque.The more common and the most famous mask is the one of Pulcinella,which is similar to a chef but with the face covered by a mask..it sone of the most ancient masquerades and it represent the sense of guilty of the society of that epoque.Traditionally,it represent also the old ancient year or the old ancient women that terminate her cycle of life and leave the place to the new beginnings..effectively,it seems that this old mask symbolacally dies when the pulcinella ride a fake horse,that represent the end of the path and the beginning of the new.The most famous italian carnival parade that we common know are the one of Viareggio,which is also the most ancient one.One really famous Carnival parade but very different from our ancient carnival parade is the one of Rio de Janeiro..
